Canada
Canada is the world’s second largest country and it has an abundance of beautiful landscapes and one of a kind sites to tour. From coast to coast, Canada is home to lively and culturally-rich cities as well as amazing natural features.
Niagara Falls
The most well-known attraction in Canada is the Niagara Falls, located along the American border and slightly over an hour’s drive from Toronto. The huge falls have an estimated drop of 57 meters. Tourists can view the falls at an incredibly close range at the top from the edge. Visitors can take a stroll down Niagara’s Clifton Hill, which guides to the Niagara Gorge and falls.
Banff National Park and the Rocky Mountains
Banff National Park is situated in the center of the monumental Rocky Mountains located in Alberta province. The park boasts gorgeous scenery such as snow-capped peaks, turquoise green lakes, and glaciers which can simply be reached in the gorgeous park. The elegant town of Banff located in the southern part of the park is an ideal location for dining, accommodation, and shopping. During winter, Banff is a large winter sports region and a popular ski destination.

The Great Wall, the longest wall in the world, is a symbolic representation of China and man’s incredible feat of historical defensive architecture. The wall winds over steep mountains and rugged country overlooking beautiful scenery. It is worth of its place as one of ‘the new seven wonders of the world'. The wall spans approximately 5,000 km; however, the best-preserved areas are located near Beijing.

The Forbidden City in Beijing was at some point a ‘palace city’ that prohibited ordinary people from entering. It is a lavish representation of ancient Chinese architecture boasting over 8,000 rooms having golden roofs stylishly designed ad painted. The Forbidden City is a treasure trove of Chinese cultural and historical relics.
Giant Pandas in Chengdu
The giant panda is a rare creature deeply loved by many. Despite the presence of several zoos in China where visitors can see giant pandas, the best location to watch them is Chengdu, which is considered to be the giant panda’s ‘hometown’. The three locations where one can see pandas up close are Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center, Bifengxia Panda Base, and Dujiangyan Panda Valley, all of which are located in or near Chengdu.
West Lake in Hangzhou
Hangzhou is well known as ‘paradise on earth’ in China due to its elegantly crafted landscape. West Lake was brought up based on Chinese passion for garden-style parks for recreation. West Lake is identified for its tranquility where urbanity blends into the background on the northeast horizon with mountains both close and in the distance encircle it in the remaining three sides. To fully appreciate the beauty of West Lake, visitors may casually take a brief cruise on the lake, bike around the lake or take a walk around the lake.

Interview with Jed Doherty on his podcast, Reading With Your Kids
